Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 5 to 6 anjeer/figs soaked in milk


  • 1 tbsp ghee


  • 1 tbsp sugar


  • Less than 1/4 tsp nutmeg powder


  • 2 tbsp khoya


  • 2 cups wheat flour


  • Approximately 1 cup water


  • 2 tbsp ghee for cooking

Directions

  • 1. Mash the soaked anjeer.
  • 2. Heat the ghee in a deep non stick pan then add the mashed anjeer and cook for 2 minutes,then add khoya,sugar and nutmeg.
  • 3.mix well and cook till it becomes thick and keep aside. Divide into six equal portions.
  • 4. Combine the flour with enough water and knead into a semi stiff dough. Cover and keep aside for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • 5. Divide into six equal portions.
  • 6. Roll one into a small circle. Put the portion of the above stuffing in the middle,and close it by bringing all the edges in the middle and roll it again to make it a mini paratha.
  • 7. Heat a tava and cook a mini paratha on both the sides till light brown in colour using a little ghee.
  • 8. Repeat with the remaining dough and stuffing to make 5 more parathas
  • 9. Serve hot
